Easter Egg Hunt & Events Glen Huntly 2025

A fantastic sunny morning down in Glen Huntly shopping precinct for the annual Easter egg hunt & street activities. Thanks to all those that participated to make it a great day and to the furry bunnies that turned up.
Christmas Trees & Lights are up along the shopping precinct
It was a busy Saturday for Glen Huntly community members as they put together red boxes and installed Christmas trees with decorations along the shopping precinct. The trees look fab along with the Christmas lights. Thanks to all the community members who helped to make the day seamless and to get the Christmas apparel up. Also, a big shout out to Remnscnt Café who supplied everybody with their morning coffees to get us pumping and Anabella Pizza who supplied us with pizza for lunch. It’s looking a lot like Christmas!
Planter boxes - colouring our main street
Colourful planter boxes have been rolled out along Glen Huntly shopping precinct to brighten up the shopping area. Thanks to all those that helped with the build of them, painting, transporting and planting out. We are going in the right direction to brighten up our area and advancing with small steps towards change.
First Glen Huntly Classic Wheels Show - What a success!
Wow, what a success for Glen Huntly’s ever first Classic Wheels show. We had a number of Melbourne Vintage & Classic car clubs that participated to make it a great event and the weather was equally as nice, with a bright sunny morning for all the community to come out and enjoy and have fun. We hope to now make this an annual event. A big ‘thanks’ to all that helped the day to be so successful, all the participating Car Clubs, Melbourne Police, Local Traders, Glen Huntly Revival group and all volunteers – we couldn’t have done it without you. Lastly, thanks to the local Glen Huntly community for showing up. See you all again next year for the 2025 Classic Wheel Car show!

Thanks to Kate Birrell, local Glen Huntly artist, bright colourful stickers are displayed in shop windows. We are a big fan of her colourful and local taste artwork.
